CURRENTLY WELCOMING NEW CLIENTS FOR 2023!

Beta Blues Robotics

The Beta Blues Robotics team (team 5975) of St. Mary’s Academy in Portland, is the only all-girls robotics team in the Pacific Northwest competing in the international FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). The main goal of this project was to increase the student intake and sponsorship for the team. This was to be met by bolstering the team’s online presence through a personalized website, as well as through their social media outlets and an updated letterhead. The primary audience are St. Mary’s Academy students and parents, following with the secondary audience of current and potential sponsors/donors, and finally the tertiary audience of other robotics teams who are also participating in FRC.

Goals and Objectives

The primary goal of this project is to increase the student intake and sponsorship for St. Mary’s Academy’s Beta Blues Robotics team. Mobile-First

For the Beta Blues Robotics project, it was created with a “Mobile-First” approach. This strategy requires that we begin prototyping and designing the smallest screen first, then working our way up to larger screens. In today’s age, phones are much more convenient to access the internet, which is why it is a priority. Because of the limited real estate on mobile devices, it helps us to prioritize the most important aspects of the Beta Blues’ website.
